A light weighted fabric which can be woven by handloom only. Since it is thin, ventilable and fluttery, it is mostly used for apparel tailoring. Moreover, *-ply silk is so soft and smooth that is also used for making pillow cushions and bedcovers. It is very difficult to weave smooth and knotless *-ply silk so that it is rarely produced currently. However, Amara takes great pride in our *-ply silk since we are a house of skillful professionals.
